PC is a natural phospholipid that helps break down & emulsify fats, while DC is a bile acid that aids in the absorption of fats. When injected into targeted areas, it works by disrupting fat cell membranes leading to breakdown & elimination of fat cells.

PCDC injections help dissolve unwanted fat. It is made up of PC - Phosphatidylcholine and DC - deoxycholic acid which are naturally occurring in the human body and aid in breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.

Using a fine needle, the PCDC compound is injected into the targeted areas. The PCDC starts to degrade the existing fat cell membranes while also stopping it from acquiring and storing adipose (fat) in the future. The adipose tissue becomes inflammed, hardens and then is naturally metabolized and eliminated by the body.

Currently, the submental area (double chin) can be treated. Other areas will be offered soon.

Treatment amount is dependent on your goals and unique physiological needs.
Typically a minimum of 3 treatments are required for optimal results. However, results can be seen after 1 treatment.

Treatment length is around 45 minutes. This includes the consultation prior to treatment to determine goals and concerns. Then, the area is either iced or a topical anesthetic will be applied. Your skin will be cleansed, and a treatment grid will be created for injection points based on your anatomy. The PCDC will be drawed up, and then injected through a series of small injections about a 1 cm apart. At the end of your appointment, your injector will provide you with post care instructions and what to expect during your healing process.

Downtime will include swelling, tenderness, redness, and possibly bruising to the site. Swelling is most significant for the first 2-3 days. We embrace swelling as it means the PCDC is working. Swelling will dissipate by day 4-5. Pain is minimal. You can continue with normal activities the next day.

Results can be indefinite if stable weight is maintained. Once the area is treated, fat cells are destroyed, leaving them unable to create more fat.
